By Candi Day - OMG, I LOVED this book!!, March 16, 2014 (Wanting Him)
OMG, I loved this book!! Once I started reading it, I was hooked!! Natalie and Parker have only been together for a few months before Parker and his band mates leave to go on tour. Parker wants Nat to join him but since the death of her mother, all responsibilities including her younger sister Nora fall on her so she can't. Things between Natalie and Parker are going really well. Nat knows she loves Parker but doesn't want to scare him away but when she travels to one of Parkers concerts and things heat up between them (HOLLLYYY CRAP my kindle was smoking these two were so hottt) it's Parker who tells Nat first. I love Nat and Parker!!! I was rooting for them so bad but of course you know something bad is going to happen to drive them apart. Will Nat be able to forgive Parker? Will they ever make their way back to each other and get their HEA? I loved getting more on Harper and Tucker from book 1. I was on pins and needles when it come to Tuck but I am so glad everything worked out with him. I LOVED Declan!!! He was sweet and caring when it came to Nat. I can't wait for the next book on him and Rowan. I have a feeling cold showers will def be needed with their book!! By Shannon Phillips - Fabulous, March 22, 2014 (Never Say Goodbye) 4 of 5 Stars
This book was totally unexpected...I loved it and cannot wait to read more from T. Renee Fike. I'm happy I took a chance on it! By Shannon "Shanoff" (Never Say Goodbye)
5 of 5 stars....loved it, March 1, 2014 I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast moving book with an easy flow. I loved Liv and Brynn. They are the best of friends and always have each other's backs. I liked that the book followed all the things going on in Liv's life. It wasn't set primarily on girl goes to college meets old childhood friend sparks fly and then they consume each other and the rest of the story fades into nothingness. I feel completely satisfied with this book. The ending matched the rest of the book it didn't feel sudden. But I wouldn't have minded just a little bit more of Nathan and Liv/O. The chemistry between them was off the charts! Oh snap and let's not leave out the super steamy sex with Levi...HOT! I liked that all things worked out how they were supposed to. I do hate the super sadness that happened but it made the book been better. Ltmk Onbooks's review Jan 16, 2014-(Needing You)
5 of 5 stars This book will take your breath away! I am always a fan of the girl with a troubled past but when both the girl and guy have troubling past it's a WHAMMY!! You meet Harper and you know there is something there. She is closed off from her family and has no friends. She leaves her hometown to start a new life you just don't know why. Then you meet Tucker and WOW!! He acts like this complete asshat! He uses women and doesn't think twice about it. But he too has a past. Harper starts school and finds a job at a local bar. She is determined not to let her past affect her future. Then she meets Tucker and she tries to keep away from him but he is always there. Tucker hasn't meet anyone like Harper before and can't seem to get enough. He wants to get to know Harper and wants to know what she is running from but they both know if they ask question they also have to answer question. This was a fabulous book mad I can't wait to read more from this author!! Renee Elden rated it 4 of 5 stars- (Needing You)

Such an emotional book full of ups and downs - you'll giggle, swoon, and cry. Can't wait to read her next book about Parker & Natalie. Jan 12, 2014 Lost in Romance Books rated it 4 of 5 stars-(Needing You)
This was a coming of age novel that takes place during the freshman year of college for Harper and Tuck. Harper is the independent woman, traumatized by family events that occurred while she was in high school. She moves across the country as soon as she is 18 yr old and is determined to start life anew. She pays her own way, works hard in her college classes and her part time job in a bar. She meets bad boy, Tucker, and they begin a tenuous friendship. The story takes place over the spring semester of college and chronicles their friendship that turns into a romance. They slowly learn each other’s secrets as their relationship grows, allowing for healing and the ability to move on beyond their past scars. I like how the relationship was allowed to evolve. There was no insta love nor insta sex. The story was well written and the secondary characters were interesting (the epilogue indicated that there will be more books in this series with one of those characters. There were some passages in the book that seemed repetitious (I felt that the integrity of the story would have been the same if the book were a little shorter). Other than that, I really enjoyed this author’s work and look forward to more from her. |

This review is from: Wanting Him (Needing You #2) (Kindle Edition) SUMMER'S BOOK BLOG GOT AS GIFT Wanting Him is a story of two people who belong together. Natalie is an amazingly strong young woman who has a painful past and is raising her younger sister. Parker is a sexy and sweet rockstar. They had only been dating for a short time before he goes on tour with his band. Will it be the end of Natalie and Parker's relationship or can they survive the drama and the distance of a tour? Parker is one of my new favorite book characters. He's not only a sexy rockstar but an all around wonderful and caring man who won't give up on the love of his life. Natalie is an inspiration, she gave up the normal carefree college life to take care of her sister. Actually, I loved all the characters in this book! The author really wrote a great group of secondary characters that makes the story of Natalie and Parker even more interesting. The author throws in a few great twists and turns that took this book to the next level. You really just don't know how things are going to turn out or what kind of secrets will be revealed. There is just enough drama to keep you hooked without going over the top. If love, sexy rock stars, drama and great friendships are your thing then definitely check this book out! I read this in one sitting and loved it! A lot of authors would have rushed to the last few chapters, but I enjoyed getting to know Liv, Brynn and Chad. Very relatable and I enjoy the college age books. Not happy about one particular life changing event... Still amazing! This review is from: Never Say Goodbye (Kindle Edition) I started reading this book and was instantly grabbed by the loved and kinship between Olivia and Brynn. Yes at first I was attached to the best friends relationship. The friends turned sisters was beautiful and loving. I began to realize that romance novels aren't only about lust. Don't worry this book has plenty of it. Liv has had her heart broken one time to many, but her friend Brynn has always had her back. Her first love nad best friend had left leaving her lonely and broken. Brynn filled that void. I loved it. It is pure and made me feel warm in my soul. I couldn't stop reading. Now let's talk about the lust shall we?? Yes this book has heat... HOT SMOLDERING NAUGHTY RAUNCHY HEAT!! You know things you would expect from a college relationships. I wont ruin it but believe me when I say that you will not be dissapointed with the level of sexual romance in this book. Renee knows how to hold her audience! As I am reading along and loving the way the story is progressing Renee throws in a twist that literally kills me! Yes, she brought me to tears like a little girl! It made such an impression that I had to take a BREATHER! After I was done bawling like a little girl that lost her teddy, I finished reading the story. What can I say? I fell in love with a story that not only gave me a lustful read but showed me that romance is not only for romantic reasons but a romance of kinship can soothe the soul and make this a beautifully complete full circle kind of story. So now for the rating.... I give this book 9 stars! Any book that can bring me joy, smoking hot guys, tears and soulful love is totally worth 9 stars! Brook rated it 4 of 5 stars-(Needing You)

I was a little worried it would be the same old, same old. I'm really glad I was wrong. This book is definitely a slow burn type of book. Harper and Tucker really take their time learning about each other and even longer for any physical connection. I really, really love that Tucker was the one pushing to reveal pieces of their pasts to each other. He was very insistent about being ready for each step in their relationship, and never took advantage of Harper when he probably could have so easily. Overall, I really enjoyed this book! I found I had to stop myself from speed reading and force myself to go to sleep because I REALLY wanted to know what happened next. This book has a very satisfying conclusion and there are a few glimpses into Tucker’s POV that are fun and interesting. The only bad thing about that was that I found I wanted more of his POV! There were a few other scenes that I would have loved to get his take on, especially since the two are very quiet about any feelings or thoughts in the beginning….. Needing You By: T. Renee Fike ♥♥♥♥♡ A Highly Recommended Read! Ok y'all this is T.Renee Fikes debute novel and all I can say is WOW!! I went into this not even reading the synopsis the book cover pulled me in. The first 18% I felt like ok what's happening here who is Harper going to fall for Tucker or Parker? Then, bam the story takes off. I couldn't stop at that point. I couldn't put it down. T. Renee Fike evokes every emotion that you could feel throughout the story. There are parts when you feel like a love struck school girl, other parts you feel your heart breaking and tears filling your eyes. The characters in this book were all developed so well that you truly fall in love with all of them. I absolutely adore and love Tucker Price. He is definitely book boyfriend material. He is gorgeous and loving and sure has his dark past and issues that make him an arrogant *** but he is still so freaking loveable. Then there is the gorgeous Harper Lane. She is intelligent, beautiful and smart mouthed. She also is so innocent that she makes you smile and you feel every emotion that T. Renee writes. You feel your heart swell and break with every turn. Oh but dont think its done there oh no I also fell in love with Parker and Natalie. Oh Parker is just delicious. He is a great friend and honorable man and such a support. Natalie oh she is so fun and also such a great friend. I cant wait to read Natalie story and to see where Harper and Tucker go from here. Alright yall this book is awesome and I suggest you go and one click this one today. ..like NOW! |
